Why this matters: A centre may say 'maximum 30' while running 45. Visit during a session if possible.

How does the centre handle doubt-clearing outside of class hours?

Why this matters: The best coaching happens when a student is stuck at 9 PM. Does the centre have scheduled doubt sessions, a WhatsApp helpline, or post-class teacher access?

Why this matters: Vague claims like '95% selection rate' are meaningless without names. A centre with genuine results will proudly share specifics.

How does the centre support average students — not just toppers?

Why this matters: Most centres advertise their top 5 students. Ask what happens to students who score below 50% in internal tests.

How long have the current teachers been with this centre?

Why this matters: High teacher turnover is a major red flag. If the 'star teacher' from the brochure left 6 months ago, the quality you expected may no longer exist.

About Fees & Financial Transparency

What is the complete fee — including material, tests, lab access, and any extras?

Why this matters: Some centres quote ₹8,000/month but then charge ₹2,000 for material, ₹500 for tests, and ₹1,500 for doubt sessions. Get the all-inclusive number in writing.

Is there an instalment or monthly payment option?

Why this matters: A centre that demands the full annual fee upfront may be prioritising cash flow over your convenience.

What is the refund policy if my child wants to leave within the first month?

The One Question That Reveals Everything

“Can I talk to 2–3 parents whose children are currently enrolled here?”

A centre that says yes is confident. A centre that hesitates is telling you something important.

Red Flags — Walk Away Immediately

  • No demo class allowed — they do not trust their own product.
  • Full year payment upfront, no refund — they are locking you in.
  • “100% results” without names — marketing, not reality.
  • Pressure tactics — “Only 2 seats left” is a car-dealership trick, not education.
  • No parent communication system — you will not know about attendance or scores until you call.
  • Cramped or unsafe facilities — 2024 government guidelines mandate safety standards.
